This is an original Greater Yellowlegs shore bird handcarved and painted by Lisa Byrd. Outstanding character! Very nice detail on the finish work and she used taxidermist legs to make this one a standing bird.

Very lifelike with tiny beady glass eyes that sparkle and look right at you! The bill is open as if the bird is calling. Perfect condition. Bird itself measures 7-1/4" long and stands 5-3/4" tall on the base. Base is 3" by 3-1/4" by 1-3/4" and is signed: Greater Yellowlegs Lisa Byrd 2007. Thanks Lisa!
