This is a Swan Quarter solid wood handcarved Redhead hen decoy. Handpainted, signed and dated by TS Fruin in 1983 and bears the Swan Quarter branded logo. There is also a message in the artist's handwriting that reads: Merry Christmas from CHICAGO magazine.

Full size decoy measuring 15-1/4" long, by 5-3/4" wide, and 6-3/4" high. Head angled approx. 5 degrees. Some extra carving detail at bill and wing tips. Glass eyes.

Condition: Very Fine. All original paint, no touchup - no flaws.
