This is a solid wood, handcarved and painted decoy by an unknown Asian maker. Approximate date would be late 1970's to mid 1980's. This is one of about 5 or 6 different profiles that were imported into the USA by the tens of thousands during that time period. It is common to see several Asian imports listed on eBay at any given time (some are described as antique or vintage - so watch out). Most were sold through Grants, K-Mart, Two Guys, and several other department stores of that era.

This one measures 13-1/2" long, by 5" wide, by 6" high. head turned about 10 degrees to the left. Glass eyes.

Condition - no gouges or significant wear, however, there are some rubs, scratches and other assorted blemishes.
