Carved solid wood miniature Pintail Drake decoy. This Asian import was made between 1979 and 1988 in Tiawan.

This is one of about 5 or 6 different profiles that were imported into the USA by the tens of thousands during that time period. It is common to see several Asian imports listed on eBay at any given time (some are described as antique or vintage - so watch out). Most were sold through Grants, K-Mart, Two Guys, and several other department stores of that time frame. These were carved in two sizes, both in miniature like this one, as well as a full size counterpart.

This one measures 8" long by 2-1/2" wide by 3-1/4" high. Glass or hard plastic eyes.

Condition is very fine in original paint.
