This is a solid wood Bluebill drake decoy that has been repainted by Lisa Byrd. It is signed and dated. Painted in 2004.

Measures 14" long by 5 " wide and sits 6-1/2" high. Head is turned approx. 5 degrees. Glass eyes. This was an unfinished decoy I acquired and shipped to Lisa for refinishing. I believe the wood is pine and was carved green.

Condition is very good. There is a long shrinkage crack that runs almost the full length of the decoy on its back. Also, some shrinkage has caused a separation disturbance to the paint at the neck/body joint.
