This is a solid wood handcarved and handpainted Mallard Drake decoy signed and dated by Bob Jones. Full size carving measuring 13-3/4' long, by 5-1/2" wide and sits 5-1/2" high. Glass eyes. Very nice profile. Head is tilted approximately 10 degrees to the left. Excellent condition.

Very light wood - my guess is Basswood. Nice job on the carving, very smooth, nice profile.

Semi transparent color stains were used for finishing. The finish is flat - No laquer or varnish was used. Signed on the bottom by Bob Jones and dated 2001. Also remnants of a price sticker.
